today i would be talking about how we can create a wifi hotspot from our PC without the need of any third-party software... Sometimes when we use a modem to connect to the internet through our PC we find it difficult to connect our other devices to that same modem/connection because we don't have a router or maybe cant afford to purchase a third-party software for the task, but today i would be showing you a trick to use.
Before i proceed lets first of all look at what a wifi hotspot is

wifi hotspot= this is wireless hub that is used to offer internet/network access to other devices using a router.
In most cases we require a software to enable us use our PC as a host.

As we now know what a WiFi hotspot is now lemme take us to the steps involve in activating it on our PC(windows)

STEPS
1- hold down the windows key + r the run command will pop out type (cmd) without the brackets and click ok

2- now we would have to check if our PC is supported for hosted network or not by typing the following command: netsh wlan show drivers
if yes proceed to next step if no try visiting your system manufacturer website to download the required software

3- if you are here meaning your PC supports hosted network
from the command window type: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=anything key=password. Then press enter
note= password must be up to 8digits or more

4- network connection successfully established. Now we start it up by typing: netsh wlan start hostednetwork
you should get a success message on screen if you don't get a success message try turning on your PC WiFi and also enable the wireless adapter...

That's not all we would need to enable sharing to allow our other devices to use the network

follow these steps to enable sharing of your network

1-locate control panel-network and internet-network and sharing center

2- click on change adapter settings located at the left side column

3-right click on your wireless network adapter and select properties. Select the tab sharing. Check the option allow other network users to connect through this Internet's connection” option. Mention your newly created hosted network name.

5-step 5:
check whether your hosted network has shared the network access or not from the network sharing and center.
Wahoooo!! You have successfully turned on your wifi hotspot. Now you can surf internet from any device using the hotspot.
