What Is Our Government Doing To The Issues Of Fatal Accident With Trucks ? by lahnder(m): 7:38am On Sep 04, 2015 |
Its over 2 days now the fatal truck accident occurred at ojuelegba involving 3 persons dead and yet both state and federal government had yet to comment on this ...this incident is coming usual and i think as Nigerians we need to cry out to our legislative arms of government to look into the matter of truck drivers , conditions of the truck and as well implement a policy banning them from moving in some major cities in the day light .. in some advance countries like Dubai , its given a Specific period of time for heavy trucks to move from 11pm to 5am .. i think this will really reduce the rate of road crashes especially trucks in Nigeria. |

That would have been the best move if we had state and federal governments that actually listen to people |

There is a law in Lagos that states no truck should move between 9am to 6pm I think, but the law enforcement guys wont do anything. The crash at ojuelegba was avoidable. |
