Today I share the thoughts of a Nigerian lawyer who believes that assets declaration is a way to divert people's attention from achievements. As we know, The Nigerian President will this week celebrate his 100 days in office. There has been, however, mixed reactions regarding this as Nigerians reflect on the promises made and how far the government is from its fulfillment. The Economist also, having looked at this declared the president as #SLOWCOACH.

After several months of call by the populace to prompt the president’s public declaration of assets, as one of the promises, he finally declared it.
