September 5, 2015, and it is a hundred days after the baton of governance was exchanged, from the hands of then President Goodluck Jonathan and his PDP constituted government into the hands of President Muhammadu Buhari of APC. A transition widely adjudged to have being triggered by under-performance of the immediate past administration, particularly in the areas of security, economy and fight against corruption.

As build-ups to the the March 28 presidential elections, the APC capitalised heavily on those perceived loopholes and made those 3 issues prominent in the course of its campaigns, and a pledge to institute a government of CHANGE when voted into power, was made.

Majority of the electorate did buy into the then advances of APC, 100 days after the questions now are;

Is the current government capable of marrying Nigerians with THE TRUE CHANGE?

Has anything CHANGED about the old order of governance?

If yes

Is the perceived CHANGE a PROGRESSIVE or a RETROGRESIVE one?

Or put simply,

May 29th to September 5th...What has really CHANGED

* Crude oil is still missing
* Police still collect bribes with reckless abandon
* Civil servants still go to work late and close early.

Seems this change is only being felt on the pages of newspapers. I remember this quote "when the head is rotten the entire body will be rotten but when the head is good, the entire body will be good". The head of the fish has been replaced with a new one but the body is still rotten. Does anyone have a better fish theory?
