Its no longer news that bayelsa state gubernatorial primary of the Apc have been shifted to Tuesday 22nd September, 2015. In a terse statement released by the Dep Nat Pub Sec, Comrade Timi Frank, reasons were not given for the postponement, but we are aware it was shifted for logistic and security reasons, though this will give time to those who wish to carry out negative unwholesome act.
The National Chairman inorder to reduce tension and find a middle ground amongst the aspirants summon a meeting of all aspirant on Monday 14th September, 2015 at the National Secretariat, the meeting rather dousing tension, increased the tension particularly with role being played by Tiwe's led Exco with respect to the manipulated delegate list and its moves stopping other aspirants with the exception of Timipre sylva from accessing the delegates.
The delegates are lodged in hotels in Omoku, Rivers State, Ughelli in Delta State and some are Sabagreia in Bayelsa State.
For the aspirants to stop the Tiwe's led Exco from rigging the primaries in favor of the former Governor they must note the following facts and act in unison on issues thrown up by the delegate list. These facts are sancrosant.
1) The list of delegates is made up of 70% youths
2) 40% of these youths have never voted in a National Election including the recent elections; this fact should be noted by all Aspirants with respect to the use of PVC'S for the primary. Does it tell you a story?
3) Approximately 30% of these youths have dual membership of Apc and Apga which was sponsored by the former first lady Dame Patience Jonathan.
4) The delegate list was put in place between July 2013 and November 2014.
5) The list is continuously being doctored, so strange names will appear on the delegate list, particularly names of pdp members who recently decamped to Apc(this may sound good to Pdp aspirants who recently decamped to Apc, its a Greek gift what the Tiwe's Exco is doing is replace those non- living delegates with living persons). The question they should ask is when did Apc conduct new delegate election that made persons who recently decamped from pdp delegates, When and Where did the election hold?
6) Since over 40% did not vote in the last General election as they were under-aged how are they going to procure thier Pvc's.
SOLUTION TO TIWE'S LED EXCO SHENANIGAN;
1) All aspirants agents must work together (particularly those who have not sold out for a mess of pottage over the issue of being named Deputy Governor by the former Governor. However the aspirant must note that 9 of thier co-aspirant have compromise) to fish out the fake delegates from the wards. Bayelsa State is a small and closed political society, we know ourselves.
2) The aspirants must demand from the National Secretariat the list of delegates, having paid 1.5million as administrative charges they have a legal right to know and access those who will vote and this list must be in the hands of thier agent during accreditation to ascertain the delegate coming to vote. Apc cannot oust the jurisdiction of the courts.
3) The aspirants must insist on the use of Pvc not international passport or national id card and the Pvc must complemented by the use of INEC card reader, because the card reader can tell whether a particular Pvc is from INEC or cloned or fake. The reason for is because most of the delegates did not vote during the last General Election, so where did they get thier new Pvc's from?
4) Aspirants should note that yesterday 17th September the Tiwe's Exco took over the function of the Oshiomole's led Electoral Committee by carrying out accreditation of delegates. They must stop it. Its not thier job.
PART 2 WILL BE OUT TODAY; AUTHENTIC LIST OF DELEGATES AND THE FAKE LIST
