HOW APC INTENDS TO FINISH OFF SARAKI (SEE SEC 24 OF THE CCT LAW)

Section 24 (3) (b) of the Code of Conduct Bureau and tribunal.

23. Powers of the Tribunal to impose punishment

 (1) Where the Tribunal finds a public officer guilty of contravening any of the provisions of this Act, it shall impose upon that officer any of the punishments specified under subsection (2) of this section.

(2) The punishment which the Tribunal may impose shall include any of the following-

(a) vacation of office or any elective or nominated office, as the case may be;

(b) disqualification from holding any public office (whether elective or not) for a period not exceeding ten years; and

 (c) seizure and forfeiture to the State of any property acquired in abuse or corruption of office.

Appeal might buy him some but members of the APC in the Senate should start shopping for a replacement the game is up because Buhari has already pacified members of his nPDP block in the APC with ministerial nominations, Atiku knows his own files of (stealing) might soon be dusted so he is likely to leave Saraki to his fate  this is a fight Saraki will have to fight all by himself .......

this is not funny for saraki
let assume saraki was not desperate to the extent of Going against party rules by becoming SP, who knows maybe he would have been enjoying his loot peacefully.

in some days to come, I won't be surprised to see some kwarans protesting against the predicament of their industrious son. people can protest anything if giving token out of trillions taken away from them.

if you get to kwara, you will see how bad their roads are. where are the monies? inside saraki's account.

as I am looking at things saraki maybe the first scapegoat. which will be an international boom for this regime in terms of seriousness on anti corruption.

where are his goons now? one by one they will leave him to his cross.

APC may not even wait for the Tribunal Ruling to remove him! His colleagues will soon desert him and he will be impeached within seconds! Remember Okadigbo, Wabara and Enwerem. Initially it looked like their colleagues backed them, but within days, in order to avoid the wrath of Nigerians, abandoned them to their fates! Relax and watch as events unfold cheesy

This might be different because the senate under Chuba Okadigbo, Evan Enwerem were almost homogeneous with PDP having a clear majority with Saraki you have a Senate where the APC is fictionalised with one faction in alliance with the PDP and without the traditional Igbo rivalry for the seat that existed then thing's might be different

You are quite pathetic!!! Continue to dream!!! This case will take a really really long time!!! Even going to the supreme court and time is not on the APC's side.

Saraki will never be impeached!!! A higher court will set aside the CCT ruling and the case would continue to linger!!! You think the Like minds senators are babies!!!

That is exactly what these fools dont understand. The PDP then had more than the required 2/3 majority and were very much more united hence they could do whatever they wanted to do.APC majority in the 8th senate is a very slim one and even at that they are not united

May the Body of Saraki Rest in Jail.

You are right to an extent: However, the situation of Evans Enwerem and Saraki are the same in the sense that, no party had/has clear majority. Secondly in the straw poll conducted by The PDP, prior to the election of Saraki, do recall that about 22 PDP senators had Voted Lawan against Saraki before the blanket support.

Third: PDP of June is not the same as PDP of Sept or December, Same as APC! Here it will be a case oof like minds across party divides.

Fourth: PDP will do everything to make Nigerians see that they no longer support or encourage Corruption/Corrupt people as this very case is an acid test for them.

Finally, don't underestimate the power of Social Media which was not that visible in the times of the past Senate Presidents bar Mark!
