Earth is hold by the Japanese women, who live 84.5
years averagely, and also it is known that they never
gain extra weight. Do you want to know their secret?
Naomi Moriyama, the writer of the book “Japanese
women don’t get old or fat”, presents her mother’s
kitchen and discloses the answers for longer and
healthier life. In the Japanese cuisine the foods that we
use for weight loss are consumed commonly every
day. Fish, rice, soy, fruits, seaweed, vegetable and
green tea are used regularly in the Japanese diet,
which contributes for slim figure and longer and
healthier life.
Because of theirs anti-aging characteristics, these
ingredients are the real-deal for losing weight in
healthy way, and are very helpful in healthy weight
management.
One cooked meal in Japan includes fish, cooked
vegetable, bowl of rice, soup, green tea and fruits as a
desert. Did you know that 10% of all fish is consumed
only in Japan? You should know that they are only 2%
of overall world population.
According to Moriyama, the Japanese parents are
teaching their children to dignify every bite and to eat
slowly. One of the rules they need to obey is that they
shouldn’t serve huge meals and to serve apart every
different food.
In the Japanese cuisine the food is cooked slowly by
steaming or shortly grilled, which makes the Japanese
cuisine easy to cook. The Japanese are using rice in
every meal as a substitute for bread, which is the main
variance between the Eastern and the Western diets.
The breakfast is the most important meal in the
Japanese diet. It can include variety of foods and
beverages like soup, tofu, young garlic, rice cooked by
steaming, omelet, fish or green tea.
When it comes to the desserts Moriyama states that
they are rarely eaten, and if eaten, they are served in
small dishes. Like any other women, Japanese too like
to eat chocolate, ice cream or cakes, but they are
aware of the negative impacts these dishes can leave
on the human body. Exercise is very important part of
the Japanese lifestyle. Many women are implementing
walking, biking or running for healthier way of live.
