As usual..the carelessness and recklessness of our own government ends up killing innocent citizens...sometimes I wonder what else we enjoy as citizens of Nigeria except suffering and death...

Sadly The government succeeded in killing that young man. The Government of the land are swift in action in solving problems whenever they find out that the problem and its faults has had immediate tragic impact on its citizens.

The victim and two others were riding on a motorcycle to an Abattoir when they got stuck in a puddle of water on the road, close to an electric pole that was poorly insulated.



Unfortunately, the victim fell into the water and was immediately electrocuted by shock waves. He died on the spot while the two other passengers escaped unharmed.

I can't merge the bolded. Why did he fall? He was close to the poorly insulated pole, and possibly did not touch the pole. Please, i need clarification on this post
