Many young people and their parent have problem in getting along during adolescent years. But it doesn't have to be this way. You can do a lot to improve your relationship with your parents.

The first thing you must do is to be patient with yourself. Building a more open and close relationship with your parents takes time and patience. Dont get frustrated or disvorage if it doesn't happen over night. Let your parent know you love and care for their feelings and you want them to be happy. Try asking your parents why they feel the way they do. Make an effort to understand their concerns about you.
