The widespread cases of violent crimes and the insurgency of the Boko Haram have been caused by the illegal possession of firearms by people in Nigeria.
The Nigerian Armed Forces and Nigerian Police must disarm all those with military weapons in every part of Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari should order the Nigerian Armed Forces and Nigerian Police to disarm all herdsmen in Nigeria, because it is even treasonable crime to have a private army in a country ruled by a federal government.
For any group of people to be armed with military weapons only reserved for the Nigerian Armed Forces and Nigerian police is anti-government. Where did they get their AK-47 guns and regular supply of ammunition?

How can the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces be smiling and traveling when there is anarchy in the Niger Delta and anarchy in the middle belt and anarchy in northern Nigeria?

The Nigeria Police Force cannot be effective when there are not enough well trained police officers in Nigeria.
There is an urgent need for more than 100, 000 police officers, because every state in Nigeria should have nothing less than 5, 000 police men and women.
Every neighbourhood should have a modern police station with a decent police residential estate for the police officers with enough patrol vehicles to patrol the streets 24/7.
All the horrible old police barracks should be demolished and new police barracks should be built with one bedroom flats for junior officers below the rank of sergeant, two bedrooms flats for sergeants, three bedrooms flats for inspectors, four bedrooms flats for police commissioners and five bedrooms flats for AIGs and IGs. The Police Academy must be upgraded to award diplomas and degrees. And the minimum entry qualification for the Nigeria Police Force should be national diploma after graduating from the Police Academy.

This is the way forward to reform and transform Nigerian police officers and also Nigerian soldiers to equip them for the national duty to guaranty the protection and safety of everyone and guaranty the national security of Nigeria in the 21st century.

Even if they disarm them, they will be rearmed!
Are the arms coming from air

Let us nab those giving and selling the arms
first, then lets see how the arms will continue
to surface.

And am sure, in every Military House, there is always a bastard
waiting for the right time to surface!
