I however was shocked when a close friend of over 20yrs opened up to me that he was gay.

True story. A Man I call my Oga, wealthy rich man, married with kids for many years was just revealed to be a homosexual by his wife. Guess who his lover is? Another Oga as well. Apparently they have been lovers since their high school days. The wife only realised after many years of marriage and stayed quietly until recently when he started acting up and kicked her and the kids out the house. The only difference between Africa and the West is that they have brought it to the level of consciousness while we are still being pretentious and hypocritical about the issue as if it doesn't exist. Secondly, Morality does not put food on the table. He should also focus on transforming his economy which is now in tatters.
