The All Progressives Congress, APC, has called on Nigerians to disregard names being bandied about in the media as supposed Ministers as the Senate resumes plenary on Tuesday, October 6, after its Independence Anniversary recess.

The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lai Mohammed, said whatever names currently published in the media, no matter how authoritative, were nothing but mere speculation and should not be accepted as the names sent by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Senate.

The ministerial list was handed over to Senate President Bukola Saraki by Chief of Staff Abba Kyari and, Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Ita Enang on Wednesday, September 30, after the senate plenary session.

In reaction, Lai Mohammed said: “Unfortunately, the Senate is yet to read the list, so whatever you read anywhere is mere speculation.

“Not until the Senate President reads out the list on Tuesday, it will be too premature for anybody to start making a comment on who and who is on the list.
