Today’s new additions to the Xbox One backwards compatibility library as announced by Microsoft’s Major Nelson via Twitter are Hard Corps: Uprising, Harms Way, Band of Bugs, Bullet Soul, and Bullet Soul -Infinite Burst, with the latter two actually being fairly recent games.

We had heard rumors recently suggesting that several of the previous Call of Duty zombies maps would be coming to Black Ops 3, but now it is a rumor no longer. Today it has been officially revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 – Zombie Chronicles will launch on May 16th, and first for PlayStation 4 players.
As for what this pack includes, we’re getting remasters of zombies maps from World at War, Black Ops and Black Ops 2. This was all confirmed by Treyarch’s co-studio head, Jason Blundell. He said that “It’s a loving, fan-service piece, by remaking and remastering eight of the original maps.” The following is a list of the maps:
-Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt and Shi No Numa from World at War
-Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la and Moon from Black Ops
-Origins from Black Ops 2
There will be plenty of more details regarding this new content soon, with a livestream showing some of it off scheduled for May 8th.

Monster Medal Battle: Online multiplayer battles against other fans around the world.

Donkey Kong, Halo: Combat Evolved, Pokémon Red and
Green, and Street Fighter II have all been added to the
World Video Game Hall of Fame. These four games have
been chosen as part of the 2017 additions, which were
whittled down to twelve titles before these winners were
chosen. They join other all-time greats like The Legend of
Zelda, Grand Theft Auto III, and Pac-Man.

These four games were added to the World Video Game Hall of Fame for a number of reasons. “The four inductees span multiple decades, countries of origin, and gaming platforms, but all have significantly affected the video game industry, popular culture, and society in general,” reads the
announcement.

Other possible inductees to the World Video Game Hall of
Fame were Final Fantasy VII, Microsoft Windows Solitaire,
Mortal Kombat, Myst, Portal, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider,
and Wii Sports. These failed to make the cut this year, but
expect to see them come up again in 2018 and beyond.

Space Hulk: Deathwing launched for PC late last year, but the game will be making the leap to consoles later this year. It will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the fourth
quarter of this year, coming with plenty of enhancements
that will supposedly make it superior to the base game.
These changes will be coming to PC through a series of free
updates.

As for what changes are expected to be coming to the PC
version throughout the year and ultimately to the console
versions, the changes are the following:

Full multiplayer progression system with loot and class
customization

New multiplayer class

New weapon and skills

New enemies

revealed that the game will be getting DLC shortly after the
game’s launch, which is called Fighter Pack 1. A release date

I'm hoping this next game will bring a satisfying resolution to the events of the previous game. Even if I don't play it, I'm sure Wikipedia will satiate my curiousity.
