The long awaited list of ministers that has practically driven Nigerians up the wall is finally (or, is it officially?) out.

Nobody as of yet knows the portfolio Mr President will assign to them. That one is the next subject of intense speculation that will give everyone, including the nominees high blood pressure.

Fortunately, we are sure of at least one portfolio - Petroleum Ministry that Mr President has assigned to himself.

Question is: Should President Buhari appear before Senator Saraki's senate to be screened?
Some idle tatafos are insinuating, that eventuality is why the Presido was all smiles with Saraki during the 1st Oct parade at Aso Rock, as opposed to his previous stony face during earlier official outings where he studiously ignored Saraki.

Personally, I don't think Presido should not be screened. If he is good enough to be president, he certainly should be good for a mere "noise-making" Ministerial slot.

"He should just take a bow and go". grin grin grin

What do you think?

What if he does not include his name in the list as well as the position?

I wonder some times if Nigerians are actually for the good of the land or they ar just hell bent on destroying this nation.
We have had ministries since 1999 with only ministers of state and thus Buhari can take charge.
Buhari can decide not to list the position but just a junior minister who will always brief him, report to him and take orders like every minister and thus he is in charge.
Also, we forget the excessive powers of the president who can say because of the obvious damage done to our national income by the past minister he has stepped in to avert a national catastrophe and this again is an option and constitutional also.

Buhari will not be screened as he has options to hold the position and not get screened.
