caste or social class is irrelevant in defining greatness, for
greatness is a term which like genes assorts independently.

In attempting to understand greatness, one must define it from the concept of an un-illusory mind set. When greatness is identified with form, it becomes conditioned and temporal therefore obscuring the light of the unconditioned and eternal that shines on it.

In our contemporary world, man is more interested in having than in being and so he tries above all odds to acquire and amass that which he thinks gives him a more complete sense of self.

Peoples concepts of greatness are veiled with the delusion of
acquiring, the delusion of ‘‘I have therefore I am’’. They fail to
realise that one does not become great by acquiring or owning,
one becomes great by finding greatness within and allowing it to
emerge through a consciousness void of the illusory self, a
consciousness void of the idea that having or owning makes one great.

Looking for greatness from without is like trying to change
external reality without any prior change of inner reality.
Greatness is that which starts from within first before proceeding to emerge from without. It has never been the other way around.

A lot of people are delusional, they have the mental concept that
ownership characterises greatness so they spend their life time
looking for what to own, they spend their lives looking for a more complete sense of self in things, only to realise on their death beds that that which they had sought for had actually already been there [within] but was largely obscured by their identification with things, by their identification with the illusory concept of ownership.

Greatness is being, it is not having. You cannot ‘‘have’’ to ‘‘be’’, that alone is delusional in itself, you have to ‘‘be’’ in order to ‘‘have’’. These are two things that should never be equated as one would have to come before the other.

Lastly, always realise that you do not need others to give you a
more complete sense of self, nobody defines you better than you define yourself and so your eyes should be the mirror with which you view yourself or otherwise you will be condemned to chasing after things for the rest of your life, which I certainly do not wish for you and thus this write up.
