This is what you call idiotic and irresponsible response.

Instead of playing games with numbers, why not just dispute the fact that pension funds was diverted as alleged by the governor of Edo state?

Was funds diverted or not. Yes or No?

So the government didn't withdraw the money, they only borrowed it to the federal governt by buying t-bills and bonds. All the same the government collected it and used it for recurrent expenditure. undecided is it not thesame thing

My brother, I dont even know if Nigerians just read only headlines and then react with their comments or we actually read the content and relate them to the live statements made on National TV. The bottom line is that the cash is not their anymore which confirms Oshiomole's claim. And it is actually unbelievable how that came about given that the last 4years actually witness the highest crude price of over 80dollars unlike the 40dollars of today

Not if the person selling you the bonds is broke, if you take your raw cash 3.5trn naira eg and buy worthless bonds that will mature in 10 or 15 etc years from a broke govt how is your fund going to pay the monthly pensions of millions of nigerians, this is the reason why the most pensioners dont recieve their pensions becos the govt refuses to pay interest on 3.5trn pensioners cant do anything becos even if pensioners go to court the fund will say the govt has our money and the most the court can do is request the govt to honnor the terms of its treasury bonds.
The question Oshomo is asking is what was 3.5trn used for? Gej govt got the money from the pension fund managers by selling them bonds, now after acquring the raw cash from the fund what did Gej govt use the money for?

You losers criticizing Oshiobaba don't get it. 3.5trn of pension funds was invested by buying treasuring bills and Jonathan diverted the money for recurrent expenditure. What that means is that the FG, as at today, owns the pension scheme 3.5trn. What if the government is unable to pay back in the future, won't that lead to insolvency of the scheme? Please you guys should think with your head.

Meanwhile, I found out that ever since Oshiobaba got married to Iara, all the enemies of progress nor let am rest. Them say he marry the woman of their dreams. It's a free world. Make your money and snatch her from him instead of jumping at him at every opportunity on Nairaland.
[/s]

When u quote figures, try reason am. Our annual budget hovers between 3 to 4 trillion, and u are telling us GEJ outside our budget also borrowed 3.5 trillion and spent it? Are u mathematically sound?

Oshiomole thinks pension funds are osusu which are just collected and kept and when the time is right given back to the owners. Pension funds world over are invested and bonds are one of the safest forms of investment. that is why after contributing only 20 a month you can expect a monthly pension 4 to 5 times the amount at the end of the day.

Bro , yes you are the illiterate here. Who issue treasury bills? Government right? What if the government goes bankrupt or fighting a war? Who pays the holder of the treasury bills when it matures?

The pension fund lent the GEJ government 3.5T and they have spent it on salaries and expenses. The money is gone, do you understand?

The problem of oshiomole is that he needed international attention desperately prompting to marry an international ashewo who he mistook for the kardashians, that one didn't work.

Again, he thought it right the another way to achieve his desire is to look for a known international figure and pick up a fight with the person, in that regard so many people will notice him. This made him to start to misguided attacks on okonjo iweala but it seemed it's not gonna work again.

Same he did when world attention was placed on jonathan, he tried sneak into the focus with his unprofessional remarks on the person of gej, but immediately the attention was removed from gej oshiomole stopped attacking gej.

Just like the international celebrities draw attention with some sex related news, oshiomole came out to draw our attention with the news that his new ashewo was a virgin.

You guys should just giving the man attention already cos that's what he's aiming for

Kindly read the response from Pencomm again. They actually conceded that the money has been utilised by the FG.

Pencomm used our pension money to buy FG t-bills and bonds. FG, the ultimate beneficiary, has used our pension money as recurrent expenditure as alleged by Osho. It remains to be seen if the FG will repay these monies upon maturity.

QED.
