What is jus soli?

Jus soli is Latin for "right of the soil" or, "right of the territory", or more simply, birthright citizenship. It is a right by which nationality or citizenship can be recognized to any individual born in the territory of the related state.

hmmm.

All these countries are getting much tougher. That's crazy.

So, even most 3rd world countries don't grant the right automatically
