Beware of Fraudsters Masquerading Themselves As Okowa On Social Media Platforms Asiuwhu Urges the Public.

The SA to the Delta State Governor on Social Media Comr. Asiuwhu Godspower has alerted the general public to beware of some unscrupulous elements masquerading themselves on various social platforms as the Executive Governor of Delta State Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in order to defraud the unsuspecting members of the public. The social media expert made this known today in Asaba in a press release which was signed and made available to Newsmen. The press release reads thus:

It has come to the notice of the Government of Delta State that some persons have opened social media accounts ( Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogs e.t.c ) in the name of the Governor His Excellency Sen Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and deploying same platform to defraud unsuspecting members of the public. The general public is hereby advised to ignore any message(s) in the name of the Governor or on behalf of the Governor Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa soliciting all levels of monetary support or information of any kind of contracts/appointments emanating from the social media platform.

The security agencies have been placed on alert to be on the look out for such scammers. Members of the public are by this notice are advise to not fall prey to the antice of these scammers as His Excellency Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and the Government of Delta State will not be responsible for any economic or social injury that may results on account of connivance of transactions between individual and the social media platform.
