President Muhammadu Buhari today received Commander, United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) Gen. David Rodriguez and his team at State House.

Speaking while receiving them,President Muhammadu Buhari expressed optimism that Boko Haram's ability to attack any Nigerian state/region will be curbed by the end of this year.He also used the opportunity to thank United State their support in helping Nigeria fight insurgency and terrorism.He however pleaded for a greater cooperation from the United States in securing the Gulf of Guinea through which stolen Nigerian crude oil is shipped abroad.

In his part General Rodriguez said he is in Nigeria to promote Nigeria/United States military relations and x-ray the possible options that will help the Multinational Joint Task Force established by Nigeria and her neighbours win the battle against Boko Haram sect.

Nice one Mr. President.

With the tactical and intelligence support from the US, Boko will soon be a thing of the past.
