NLC and TUC want restructuring of the ministries but no worker should be sacked. What then is the purpose of the restructuring if the over-bloated bureaucracy is retained?

Restructuring can done without it leading to the sack of workers.

In one word, the way government activities are carried out requires a total restructure. They cost of doing things in governments (all levels) should be restructured in a way that will bring about development. These institutional processes, entitlements of public office holders, security details, privileges, allowances, grants, this monetization of a thing meant to embezzle our money, cost of running govts, what govts cater for for the officials, n what have you are bottlenecks. They need to be removed now. When another govt comes to power, return to its old way. With this system of running govts we can never get there. Some who think their father, mother, aunty or unc‭le is there to help them is not the best. Let everything be done in a reasonable way.
