A group of Ifa worshipers, under the umbrella of Ancient Religious Societies of African Descendants International Council, ARSADIC, have offered to assist the Nigerian Army in the ongoing counter insurgency war against Boko haram insurgents, advocating for traditional oath taking for politicians as a panacea for curbing corruption.

The group stated this through its Chairman, Executive Working Committee, EWC, Olalekan Ifagbenuola, at a press conference held at Ile Ife, appealing for recognition and collaboration with President Muhammadu Buhari in the ongoing efforts to ensure the rescue of the kidnapped 276 Chibok girls and eventual defeat of the insurgents.

“If proper oath of allegiance is taken genuinely, our leaders would not misbehave when they get to power. If the oath is taken in a traditional religious way, they will not misbehave.
“There must be fear of God in anything we do.”

“Corrupt leaders in offices promote crimes and if our leaders are honest, the level of crime in the country will greatly reduce. We are ready to assist to tackle insurgency, if we are invited by the government.” See pic: http://www.post-nigeria.com/chibok-girls-association-of-idol-worshipers-offers-to-rescue-army/
