No mention of slot companies, computer warehouse groups, wakanow.com. lol. A yoruba man will always be tribalistic. |

Ilekeh:No. just setting the record straight. Most of the companies there are learners in the tech game. |

Nicur:Don't mind these cone headed tribalists. Zinox computers did not make his list but konga and the rest did. Laughable. |

I respect the list and even some that didnt make the list such as Iroko TV However, i think we need to be wary of globalization. For every konga, there are over 1000 websites all over the world including the likes of Asos,Amazon and Macys that now ship directly to Nigeria and have a wider variety of products. Jobberman as far as i am concerned should not be on that list as they dont provide any value added service. I remember them copying jobs directly from hotnigerian jobs and they were caught red handed. Just google hotnigerian jobs jobberman and see for yourself Interswitch is trying but their verve card is no where near mastercard or visa card. The Gamsole company is trying but not even close to what can be obtained globally. Nigerian Tech companies are trying but Globalization and the will of Nigerians to go for foreign brands over local is a big problem not to talk of funding and infrastructure in Naija. All in All, The world is flat. 1 Like |

Ilekeh:tout? lol. you dey craze. When you can't intelligently defend your tribalism, you resort to base insults. Iroko TV is 1 million times the tech firm that the rest of those yoruba online ''social media'' websites will ever be. |
Re: 9 Tech Companies Building Nigeria’s Future by Ilekeh(f): 3:56pm On Oct 19, 2015 |
Yanks101: Yanks101: Facebook is a social media. Glassdoor is a job seeking platform. No matter which route Yorubas take, be it social media or e-commerce, we're developing Nigeria. Tout. 4 Likes |

Mike Adenuga (Globacom) – One of Nigeria’s richest men, Mike Adenuga is the founder of Globacom, the country’s second largest telecom operator, only behind MTN. Registered as the fourth mobile operator in 2003, Glo swiftly raised competition amongst local operators, moving to battle with MTN at the time. It has been credited for championing the significant drop in cost of telecommunication services, with prices of sim cards falling from a high of N40,000 ($250) to as low as N200 ($1.2) in less than a half-decade. 5 Likes |

Inye Saheed Adepoju talks Bible like a pastor. He’s not. He is a technology genius, the designer of Nigeria’s first Tablet PC. He is a Co-founder and CEO at Encipher Limited, along with Anibe Agamah. Saheed made the first Nigerian tablet out of a need to solve a personal technology problem. That was in 2009. He had developed an android software, and wanted to pre-install and test its functionally on compatible hardware, but no tablet in the market met his specifications. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Seyi Oyesola -- Nigerian-born Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Physician Co-inventor of "Hospital-in-a-Box", a solar-powered, life-saving operating room which can be transported to remote areas of Africa and set up quickly Although he spent part of his youth in America (including going to high school in Cleveland, OH), Seyi Oyesola's heart was always in his native country of Nigeria as he dreamed of returning there to become a physician and help his people. After completing high school here, he returned with his family to his homeland where he earned his medical degree and began his internship training. But he soon discovered that on his meager salary as an intern, he could barely afford to maintain his mother’s ageing car. So he left Nigeria for Britain to complete his training, asking himself: “Is this going to be a permanent phenomenon? Will we keep paying doctors in Africa so poorly that they migrate to the U.S. or the United Kingdom?" As he later realized when he began practice as an anesthesiologist and critical care physician, such situations are but microcosms of more serious medical and healthcare problems plaguing Africa. But with determinism and optimism, Seyi is doing his part to make a difference. http://www.usasciencefestival.org/schoolprograms/2014-role-models-in-science-engineering/384-seyi.html 5 Likes 1 Share |

Orikinla:that's just our problem in this country people always do ITK in what they don't know and give out a false information to the public, God bless you for mentioning CC Hub, the thing is that the true tech companies in Nigeria are not famous just like programmers but their products are more famous than them. |
