Well if you think the list is wrong you have to

Innoson is not a tech company is it?
And Jobberman and Konga are tech companies..... I can assure you that innoson use way more I.T products than Jobberman and yet it made the list..... Iroko TV actually is way more tech than most of the coys here.... They actually train programmers and code their own products....

Excuse me, did you just say I am clueless? I am in my good mood and wouldn't want to bandy words with you, especially when it is very clear you know nothing about Nigeria's tech industry or the I.T coys that are actually the ones that set the pace in the industry..... Debating I.T with somebody whose only knowledge of the industry is what he or she reads on NL and some fancy blog usually resorts to insults....

I am surprised there is no mention of #SolyntaEnergy arguably Nigeria’s leading Alternative energy company with a vision to have an installed capacity of over 40,000 MW of electricity by 2022. Watch out guys.

@op you all should know the meaning of technology before listing any firm. For your information, we have information technology, bio technology, elcetronics and computer technology, aeronautical technology, food technology, textile technology, transport technology, plastic technology, etc it is soo vast.If you want to post on technology in general, then firms like paga, iroko tv,innoson(which is also into plastics),zinox (which i used in my university days), computer warehouse group, emel and ast solart firm.Unless you are narrowing down your view to Information technology firms, which should include irokotv,nairaland,lindaikeji,wakanow.com, etranzact, hotels.ng,paga, and others. Finally technology means the use of scientific knowledge for practical purpose.

Printivo (Print Production)

Year Founded: 2014

Founders: Oluyomi Ojo, Ibukun Oloyede & Ayodeji Adeogun.

Printivo has managed to carve a niche for itself with an efficient web-to-print model that helps SMEs do small-scale print production at very affordable prices.

Founded by a team of seasoned experts who are smart enough to integrate tech into the business, Printivo is definitely on course to change the face of Print Production in Nigeria.

Hotels.ng (Hospitality)

Year Founded: 2012

Founder: Mark Essien

Hotels.ng is an online hotels booking platform that is changing the way Nigerians think about travelling. One of the most notably successful tech companies in Nigeria that is solely managed by a CEO with a technical background, the startup ran on internally generated revenue for over a year before recently raising $1.2 million in a Series A funding round.

Interswitch (FinTech)

Year Founded: 2002.

Founder: Mitchell Elegbe.

Interswitch started generating revenue from the first day of business. The company has grown to over N30.8 billion revenue, as at March 2015 year end, with 93% recurring revenue according to a report by the CEO Mitchell Elegbe.

There is no doubt that Interswitch will continue to sour high in the Nigerian payment market where it currently does 3.9 billion transactions per year.

charix: All these mean nothing to me till our country solves the problem of epileptic power supply. All the organizations highlighted do not have a total manpower of 1,000 people so it doesn't make a dent on our 200million plus population.

Only through fixing our power problem would a surge of similar tech companies crawl out the woodworks, employing numerous Nigerians and see us joining countries reputable in the ICT sector.
For now, we've a non-existent digital footprint.

Good point!

Every company starts as a Start Up. I live in a city with so many start up companies. Give it a few years and you'll be up there. Just keep doing what you're doing with more energy.

Good luck.
