For obvious reasons.

However, I know a phrase people use to describe it - "otoo biri biri".

"Uto m" is the nearest thing to "Sugar" that I have heard couples use as a term of endearment. It means "My Sweetness".

Oh. Interesting, Phut. Thanks. Have to say I've never heard 'nwa nnu' before. That 'nnu' sounds a lot like 'salt', doesn't it?

No. Nnu = Salt. Nwa nnu literally means the child of salt.

But like Radoillo said, when you want to use it as a term of endearment, its better to say Uto'm. The "M" = My, and comes after "Uto". The language structure is different from English in this regard
