Chairman of the Commonwealth Observer Mission to Tanzania and Nigeria’s former President, Goodluck Jonathan has appealed to candidates who may lose in Sunday’s election to promptly concede defeat for the interest of the country.

Jonathan added that his team was optimistic that Sunday’s election will be held in a free, fair and transparent manner as democracy in Tanzania was gradually getting mature.

Jonathan is leading a 33-man observation team to Tanzania to monitor the general elections while former Mozambican President, Armando Guebuza will lead the African Union, AU, observer team.Read the complete story;http://www.post-nigeria.com/tanzania-election-losers-must-concede-defeat-jonathan/

Ex- president Jonathan ordinary would not have accepted defeat during the 2015 presidential election. Series of situations forced him to do so. Well, it is good to see him making this move.
