PROF. ADEWOLE AND HIS SSA
I am not a prophet. But I can authoritatively say that one of the people that will follow Prof. Adewole to Abuja is my Oga, Mr. Sunday Saanu. Mr. Saanu is going to be the Senior Special Adivser (SSA) on Media to his boss Minister.
In the last five years, Mr. Saanu has been writing articles for both University of Ibadan and the Vice Chancellor. He has practically given Prof. Adewole global visibility . For instance, when Prof. Adewole celebrated 60 years in 2014, more than seven national newspapers published Mr. Saanu's article on the then VC. How many VCs in Nigeria enjoy this kind of massive publicity? There is no doubt that Mr. Saanu writes well. He is like Ruben Abati. Now that his boss, Prof. Adewole is a Minister, it is just logical that he will take a leave of absence from UI and follow the Minister to Abuja to continue to do what he knows how to do best. If my prophesy is right, then I will take tithe and offering from the intelligent SSA.
