Sober reflection
This is 1973, when Yakubu Gowon shook a 2-years old little boy in Canada.

He is Justin Trudeau! That boy today, now 43 years old, is the prime minister of Canada.

In Nigeria, his mates are still the "leaders of tomorrow".They are body guards to moneybags,, thugs to politicians, egbe wengers to governors, professional students giving awards to drug barons and organising protests for criminal suspects etc... What a country!

They say we are the leaders of tomorrow. Whenever will tomorrow come? This calls for sober reflection.

No actually... the problem lies with the young folks and not the old who refused to step down!

The big issue is what have you as a young person done to make a change...folks dont understand what being leaders of tomorrow actually is... most young people these days shy away from responsibilities and anything that has to do with their commitment. i and you are guilty of this..the old folks would not go down when the see that the young dont even show interest in leadership and its qualities. rather we are more pre-occupied with frivolities that dont matter a single bit!

How old was lucky igbinedion, James ibori, Orji uzor kalu, Fayose and some other when they became state governor and what was their impact? It is not about age but the conscience to always stand for justice and fairness. What will a very corrupt 40years old Nigeria achieve as president? What would this generation of money conscious youth contribute to nation development? Dimeji Bankole, Anyim Pius Anyim were under 50years when they became speaker and Senate president in their time at the national assembly, how did they perform? How did Anyim perform as SGF under Jonathan? Finally what did Jonathan (57years)who can still be considered a youth achieved as president of Nigeria? Am a youth (less that 40years) and will always support the idea of giving us a chance, but truth is majority of our youth in Nigeria are not qualified to hold public office. Many of our youth are not informed politically, many don't even listen to network news or political discuss. My opinion

The youths of today are worse than their forebears as evidenced by their cultism and vacuous lifestyle
