Dis was before the advent of Oil Money and Corruption!! It was all issues based campaigns with Agric the main source of foriegn exchange and GDP growth. Have u noticed something funny about the picture? -No security guards or Police. -peaceful campaign atmosphere. -standing on table not Podium or stage. -wearing cover slippers.. -jump-up trousers. -not Party banners/ colours -and surely no money to be shared unnecessarily as incentives! -No Party Chieftains (at d back). -No military presence. Can it ever happen again?! No way!! Too many thieves around..too many corrupt politicians..too many military presence and fear...too many religious bigotry and intolerance. Cc Lalastica
