Recently, many of south africa’s universities have been hit by protests, some of them violent, by students demanding that the increase in tuition fees be scrapped. This is the latest in a series of student demonstrations that have gripped south africa this year. All the universities have been shut down nationwide, economic activities paralyzed. Some are reportedly injured.

It has been terrible in south africa for the past one week.

Nigerians are relatively peaceful people compared to many other nations. I cannot remember if even NANS has ever in recent gathered this kind of massive crowd to protest any kind of hike in fees.

It's really a large crowd!

Atleast they are protesting for their rights instead of bashing themselves online, licking Buhari's a55 and promoting tribalism like what most Nigerian youths do.
