Rayhut:who is this? Lol u mean lagos is not a yoruba land again? 80 percent of people in kwara are yoruba speaking people, even the 20 percent claim and align theirself to yoruba, call them fulani they will be so angry with you, they will rather be called fulani ilorin or fulani yoruba they speak fluent yoruba as well ,kogi 40 percent are of yoruba extract so u think tony tetula, pasuma ,saheed balogun will call theirselves fulani abi?,confirm one ,where dino my sure pretty friend jumoke wont align and call theirselves yoruba, and that of ondo dont even go there, ijaw are just 3 percent out of ondo state population and landmass, your opinion really shows you lack history, ignorant and you havent go out of your region before. 1 Like |

Rayhut:I don't really like quoting people but I have to do this to even educate you, as you stated the parts you claim are Igboland in Delta(Anioma), Rivers(Ikwerre) and that of Edo have identity problems the anioma are descendants of Benin that long interacted with Igbo nd share some cultures which is only in Delta north, the Ikwerre nd ukwani people has bathe same crisis but as for Kwara u talked about is 80% Yoruba except for ilorin which has Delano interactions, sames as Okun people of Kogi(though a minority in Kogi) this two were categorized as North Central but they always identify themselves as Yoruba without any coercion and without coercion through expansionist agenda. But an Ikwerre man will categorically tell u he is not Igbo just the same way Itsekiri(Yoruboid Language group with Yoruba culture and names) will tell you they are not Yoruba which we don't force them to do so for any selfish reasons, it's an open secret that Igbos are domineering, rude, oppressors and expansionist so you people want to annex some part of South South because of the oil rich nature and access to sea as Biafra will be landlocked but it's DOA as for Lagos and Ondo ilaje side I can only laugh because this are ancestral home of Yorubas. I know it's a bitter pill to swallow but take heart brother the Niger Delta struggle is different from Biafra. |
