The Automatic Phase Selector is a product of Valec Technologies Limited. It is built with the most rugged set of components to withstand the frequent power outage and fluctuation. It has also passed through series of ergonomic tests.
In most installations, three phases of power is connected from the main public power supply lines (PHCN). One of these three phases is used at a time, which means that when power fails on the phase in use, a fuse is moved to another cut-out socket. Within this period of moving the fuse to another phase, there must be power outage (BLAKOUT) for at least three minutes. If at last, Power fails completely on all three phases, it is a normal practice to operate a manual Change over switch before the Generator is started. If within the time the Generator is in use, PHCN/NEPA restores power, if you are not informed, by any alarm or by a good neighbor, your generator will be running till morning but if you are informed, you will like to wake up in the midnight, go outside and switch off the generator and finally operate a manual switch to change over to public power line.
This “ROBOT” does all these jobs for you. When Power fails on one phase, it selects another phase without causing any blackout. No equipment in the house goes off. Not even television or DVD players. Your bulbs will not blink. It keeps on ‘running’ from one phase to another as long as power keeps failing on the phases. If Power fails totally on all phases, the ROBOT switches over to your Generator and waits for you to start it. As soon as you start the generator, power is fed to your house. If power is restored on any of the three phases, the ROBOT changes over to the public line and switch off your Generator. No blackout, fluctuation or system shutdown will be noticed.
