I wonder if there is any Cosmetic surgery for teeth whitening in Africa which offer the follow facilities.

According to the FDA, the term "bleaching" is permitted to be used only when the teeth can be whitened beyond their natural color. This applies strictly to products that contain bleach — typically hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide.

In-Office Whitening, Significant color change in a short period of time is the major benefit of in-office whitening. This protocol involves the carefully controlled use of a relatively high-concentration peroxide gel, applied to the teeth by the dentist or trained technician after the gums have been protected with a paint-on rubber dam. Generally, the peroxide remains on the teeth for several 15 to 20 minute intervals that add up to an hour (at most). This explanation is what i have understand so far.

So what I am asking is if there is any cosmetic dentist that offers the two facilities.

1. Bleaching
2. Veneer

Picture below is the whiting shade of a complete discolored teeth.

if there is a dentist here, can you work a shade 6-7 teeth to become shade 2 teeth

i need a denstist repsonse or someone who knows of a dentist that offer these job.

and for you which of the shaded numbers is your teeth?

you were not getting any replies actions speaks louder than words.. i dont know of any specialist hospitals but i bet teaching hospitals like LASUTH or LUTH will prolly know a thing or two about teeth whitening and dentures.

Anyone heard of the "Dazzle Smile" teeth whitening system? I found an advertisement for it, but I'm not quite sure if I should get the free trial or not. There seems to be a lot of advertisements/review sites about this product. Here's an example: Ez Bright Pro Review

you can visit 445 Nigerian Airforce Hospital Ikeja at Sam Ethnam Aiforce Base by PWD Oshodi-Ikeja express way Ikeja. they would refer u to the NAF dental clinic which is beside the local airport. they have such facility, but u wld have to pay.

Very Sure. The Clinic is at Fabac Close, behind Mobile head office building , towards Lekki.

You can call the doctor for the exact address and to book an appointment.

Call Ordontoville on 07055004466. The charges are a bit high but I am not rolling in money yet but can still afford the charges. He will demand for a reference since he doesn't expect you to cough out all the money at a go. You have to source for someone he knows who will vouch you won't skip with his money and then he will work on while you gradually find and pay all his money.

The cost depends on the shade of whiteness you want to achieve.

Teeth shades are graded from shade  1 to 10 with shade 1 as the whitest.
So if for instance your teeth are currently at shade 6 and you wish to go to shade 2, you will need 4 levels of whitening.

At Dr. Segun's each level costs about 45,000 naira.

to be honest im not sure how much it ll cost, my mum goes there for crowning & stuff like that, y dont u call like madam L suggested that way u ll know if it works for your budget or u ll need to save a lil more

Call the number. I have never asked for whitening of teeth and so have no idea of cost. The people there are very amiable. They will answer your questions politely and give you whatever info you need over the phone. I CAN SAY THEY ARE GOOD. The Oga there did an intricate procedure for me some ten years back and I have not had cause to complain. My kids and Oga also do routine stuff there.

The headman there is called Dr Emeka. You can ask to be given his number so you speak direct to him but anyone there can hold a decent conversation on the services.

I know this is coming in late but for any one who might need this in the future. Theres a Dental practice (Choice Dental)on the island, i know they have people who do very good cosmetic dentistry, veneers and other stuff. One of the doctors is a certified Invisalign provider here in Nigeria. You could check their website out www.choicedentalng.com for their address and services they offer
