Christ came to abolish religion and show us the Truth, thats why the religious leaders of His time were constantly against Him.
Christ came to show us the way (john 14:16)
He came to build a church different from what the world has ever known (matt 16:18-19)
The followers of Christ in the Bible were called christians.
No religion saves, only God does and thats exactly what Jesus came to show us;
I am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly.- Jesus Christ

Jesus was Jewish. During his lifetime he practised a form of Judaism that was less officious than the Judaism practised by the Pharisees and it was a "humbler" form than that practised by the Saduccees. For all intents and purposes the form of Judaism practised by Jesus was more akin to that of the Essene's.

Jesus did not practice any religion.


In fact he was even against the religious people, and also goes against their teachings.

he was a rebel, no wonder they wanted to get rid of him..because he was drawing people away from God..The torah warned the jews against does fooling the people with fake miracles..and where warned by their god not to have any other god before him..

But they believed him at his death, when their was an earthquake after he gave up the ghost.

They confessed, really this man is the son of God.

believed what?..he was not the messiah god promised them. He did not fulfil any of the messiaic prophesies..so he was just a waste of space...
