The Police in Yobe on Tuesday arrested a gang of cattle rustlers terrorizing some north eastern states of Yobe Bauchi, and Taraba. The state’s police commissioner, Zanna Mohammed Ibrahim, who spoke while parading the four suspects in Damaturu, said they were arrested at Garaji Village in Tarmuwa local government area of Yobe State. Ibrahim said six cows and 19 sheep were recovered from the suspects. The police commissioner said one Usman Manga reported at Tarmuwa police station that one Buba Ahmadu had stolen his seven cows and 10 sheep but investigation turned out that both Manga and Ahmadu belong to a gang of inter- state cattle rustlers terrorizing Yobe, Bauchi and Taraba.
