According to The Punch, the policemen who are attached to the anti-robbery section of the state department of criminal investigation, Yaba had embarked on an illegal raid near a night club in the FESTAC area of the state and detained Owolabi and about 30 other Lagosians.

Moving against the raid, the inspector-general of police Solomon Arase reportedly gave the state police commissioner Fatai Owoseni 48 hours to fish out the culprits.

So not all Police raids are legal...some may be for personal vexations

This is a very serious matter the guy could have lost is life how many people have died in such circumstances this issue of police should be taking seriously have seen them in action maltreating people even underage, a lot of them go unpunished even most of their supirior no what their capable of doing, with more people expressing and reviling them on social media I think the police service commission should work on ways to tackle this problem, may be then they could earn their respect and trust of ordinary citizens
