zodiakzax: Man and animals share the same nature ( form ) , in that we are all regarded as " FLESH " . the context of philipians 2:6 deals with form or appearance of God. which some version render as nature. lets take a look at the meaning of the word rendered nature in philipian 2:6
it means form or outward appearance , to expose your trinity fallacy, tell me what is the form of God and his angels ? 1 Like |

CAPTIVATOR:yet again ignorance on rampage. And yet you claim you know the bible. You used the word Morphe, now I have not seen from the list of synonyms that Nature is part of the meaning of Morphe, I can only see form, sharp or outward appearance. I don't know which translations use nature but get this clear, when we talk about a nature of a being we are actually talking about the characteristics and abilities of that being which made it what or who it is. Angels cannot have the nature of God because they are created beings, they are not omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. Man was created in the likeness and image of God but we do not have the nature of God. Animals do not have the same nature with man (who taught you that?) does your dog have the same nature as you? Sometimes you guys will say just anything to make your points heard. Animals are physical beings but do have the same type of body, soul and spirit as man. Our intellectual capabilities far exceeds that of an animal, our way of doing things is different. We have the power of communicating, power of words, Christ came to die for humans not animals. Maybe you have the same nature with your animals, if that is the case then am sorry you are more like an animal. Now my other question is, Philipians 2:6 spoke about Christ who though was in a form of God..... since you used that scripture is it for us to believe that you believe that Christ was in the form of God? |

If there's any wise among you who will like to know the truth for him or herself then I suggest you carefully go through what all my brethren in Christ has posted so far and what I've posted below. Be the Judge of it and be honest with yourselves. The Bible says that: The heavens are the work of God’s hands (Ps 102:25), the heavens are the work of Jesus’ hand (Heb 1:10), God laid the foundations of the earth (Isa 48:13), Jesus laid the foundations of the earth (Heb 1:10), God is our judge (Ps 50:6, Eccl 12:14, 1Chron 16:33), Jesus is our judge (2Tim 4:1, Rev 20:12), God is the temple of the New Jerusalem (Rev 21:22), Jesus (the Lamb) is the temple of the New Jerusalem (Rev 21:22), God is the alpha and omega (Rev 1:8, Jesus is the alpha and omega (Rev 22:13), God is the first and last (Isa 44:6, 48:12), Jesus is the first and last (Rev 22:13), God is the beginning and the end (Rev 21:6), Jesus is the beginning and the end (Rev 22:13), Only God can forgive sins (Lk 5:21), Jesus forgives sins (Lk 5:20), God is our hope (Ps 71:5), Jesus is our hope (1Tim 1:1), God is eternal (Deut 33:27), Jesus is eternal (Isa 9:6, Heb 1:1011); God will come with all the holy ones (Zech 14:5), Jesus will come with all the holy ones (1Thess 3:13); Only God is our savior (Isa 43:11), Jesus is our savior (Tit 2:13, 2Pet 1:1) God is the creator of the universe (Isa 44:24, Jer 27:5), Jesus is the creator of the universe ( Jn 1:3), To God, every knee will bow and every tongue confess (Isa 45:22 23), to Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess (Phil 2:10-- 11), God is the same and his years will have no end (Ps 102:27), Jesus is the same and his years will have no en d (Heb 1:12), God is immutable (Mal 3:6), Jesus is immutable (Heb 13:8 , God is over all (Ps 97:9), Jesus is over all (Jn 3:31), the spirit of God dwells in us (Rom 8:9), the spirit of Jesus dwells in us (Gal 4:6), God is a stone of offense and a stumbling block (Isa 8:14), Jesus is a stone of offense and a stumbling block (1Pet 2:8, God was valued at 30 pieces of silver (Zech 11:1213), Jesus was valued at 30 pieces of silver (Mt 26:14 shepherd (Jn 10:11, 116), God is our shepherd (Ps 23:1), Jesus is our Pet 5:4, Heb 13:20); God is Mighty God (Isa 10:21), Jesus is Mighty God (Isa 9:6), God is Lord of Lords (Deut 10:17, Ps 136:3), Jesus is Lord of Lords (Rev 17:14); God is our only Rock (Isa 44:8 , Ps 18:2, 94:22), Jesus is our rock (1 Cor 10:4); God is our owner (Isa 54:5), Jesus is our only owner (Jude 4); No one can snatch us out of God’s hand (Deut 32:39), no one can snatch us out of Jesus’ hand (Jn 10:28), God is the horn of salvation (2Sam 22:3), Jesus is the horn of salvation (Lk 1:68 9), God renders a ccording to our works (Ps 62:12), Jesus renders according to our works (Mt 16:27, Rev 22:12), God loves and corrects (Prov 3:12), Jesus loves and corrects (Rev 3:19), God’s words will stand forever (Isa 40:8 , Jesus’ words will stand forever (Mt 24:35), Go d is the eternal light (Isa 60:19), Jesus is the eternal light (Jn 8:12, Rev 21:23), God seeks to save the lost (Ezek 34:16), Jesus seeks to save the lost (Lk 19:10), Paul is a slave of God (Tit 1:1), Paul is a slave of Jesus (Rom 1:1) even though no man c an slave for two masters (Mt 6:24), God raised Jesus from the dead (Gal 1:1), Jesus raised himself from the dead (Jn 2:19-21), God is our guide (Ps 48:14), Jesus is our guide (Lk 1:79), God is our deliverer (Ps 70:5, 2Sam 22:2), Jesus is our deliverer (Rom 11:26), God is called God (Isa 44:8 , Jesus is called God (Isa 9:6, Jn 20:28 , God is the King of Israel (Isa 44:6), Jesus is the King of Israel (Mt 27:42, Jn 1:49). brocab: first, I hope you have dropped the attempt to smear my name, such things does not word, it reeks of desperation ok. How many times have we answered your questions time and time again. And still it doesn't sink into your spirits.[/qoute]it you had answered my questions over 20 pages ago, if you had qouted and explained the scriptures posted to you, maybe I would I have understood. The time I wake up and start reading your page and the time I finish reading your page, its bed time.sorry bout that, but I felt it was neccesarily to use your posts to spread the truth, to make others see why you could not quote and explain certain scriptures. Most people would allow the other to have a say when one addresses a question or two. But not you? You come across very abusive and cast the first stones against us, not given us time to seek after your demands of questioning. sir, I've been asking the same, question for months!, begging you to quote and explain certain scriptures for over 20 pages now, do you want the whole year? ARE YOU A POLICEMAN? Even if you are? Still your way of questioning isn't working.the questions where very few in the beginning, as you kept on changing topic without answering any, it kept on growing , if you answer any of them, I'll remove it from the list. {Matthew 7:9} Which of you, if your Son asks for bread, will give him a stone? you are not my son sir! issues, questions and request still pending : 1. WRITTEN WHAAAT? pls point to what I've written and post it, anytime I say you said something, I endeavor to direct you to wheee and when you said it, so pls direct me and others to where I said " God and the Word is a two headed god"? bunch of liars! 2. Brought what back to my attention, I know you desperately want him to bring those words he accused me of saying out, it pains you that he could not, hence you have to find alternatives! .............................. And yet no response from you on the issue you yourself raised? also up till now , you have not answered these questions (ill find that post and point it to you) ...................................... you have also refused to respond to these questions and scripture: Just tell us the name of the church you associate with, that you are a member of!. If possible you can include its official website, at least you surpport using technology in Gods work. Tell us, do you know that Jesus Christ told someone that he has a God? And that statement was recorded in the kjv.? Can you tell us where this can be found? If you can't answer this question brocab, then you dnt know the truth about Christ!. Expecially. The one spoken by Jesus himself. Examine this questions brocab 1. If you say one body, one spirit, was Jesus a spirit before he came to earth? 2. When Jesus was on earth, was the spirit in him his, the father or the holy spirit.? 3. After Jesus left the earth, did he remain in the body or became a spirit? 4. What does Jesus mean by " the father is greater than I am" 5. Why does Jesus say he is going to the father when you are trying to say he is spirit. 6. You asked a question, the answer is yes, but ill like to ask you, what about the soul, why did you remove the soul when fomulating your question. brocab , readers will note(again) that you have NOT quoted and explained ANY of the following scriptures : 1.rev 1:1,6 2. Rev 3, 2,13 3. John 17:1-3 4. Heb 1:1 -9 5. John 20:17 6. 1 cor 11:3 7 . 1 ti 2 :5,6 8.Acts 4:10 9. Acts 2:36 10. Acts 2:24 11. Acts 5:30 12.Acts 10:38,40,43 11. Phil 2:9,11 12. john 14:6 13. Brocab , examine these scripture Acts 5: 31. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus is Gods only begotten son, Jesus is not God almighty! ................................................ YOU HAVE AGAIN ADDED LIES TO YOUR VIEWS. Lets see if Jesus was recognizable to those who knew him: King James Version Joh 20:14And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and KNEW NOT THAT IT WAS Jesus! King James Version Joh 20:15Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? SHE SUPPOSING HIM TO BE THE GARGENER, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. I dnt think the disciples would have been able to recognize Jesus more than Mary, she probably would have known Jesus from birth, and the picture of Jesus in her memory would have been sharper than a 100 mega pixel camera! but here you are , lying again that Jesus was recognizable to those who knew him! dnt you think Mary should have been able to recognise Jesus instantly if he had been raise in the same body he died in? * this is a question ill hope you can give us answer to . Do you notice how Jesus appeared to his disciples who had locked the doors, his actions transcends the physical realm, he appeared to them gram!, in a locked rooM!. yet until he showed them death dealing wound marks, that was when they believed they where swing the Lord. brocab pls tell us 1. DOES SOME ONE FACE CHANGE WHEN HE OR SHE IS RESSURRECTED WITH THE SAME BODY HE OR SHE DIED IN? 2.DOES SOME ONE GETS RESSURRECTED WITH THE WOUND'S OR INJURIES THAT KILLED HIM? If your assumptions are true, I bet during the ressurection, we will know those whose throut where slit, cus there will still be a gapping hole in there necks. and those whose brains where blown out will have a hole in their head, cus they will be resurrected with that same body! before, I digress, let's further examine ya lie. King James Version Joh 21:4But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: BUT THE DISCIPLES KNEW NOT THAT IT WAS Jesus. john 21: 12 New International Version Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." None of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. even after seing Jesus after his resurrecting, after being with Jesus for years, they still do not recognize Jesus at first glance. If Jesus had been resurrected with the same body he had died in, the disciples will have no doubt, they wunt need to even bother to ask the question that dared not to ask, "who are you". Jesus had just showed them who he is, it is left for us to understand that they still had issues with Jesus physical features, despite knowing that the person inviting theM to a meal is actually Jesus. I for one believe that only spirits do appear and dissappear at will! spirits can manifest physical bodies of any liking for any particular purpose, the scriptures is awash with such occurrences, they can even use it to have sex sef! sir do you ever read the scriptures at all. It says flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God! human body is flesh and blood! how then do you espect the king of gods kingdom to have flesh and blood while his Co rulers do not! how do you expect the physical to rule in the spiritual realm. brocab, Jesus was a spirit before he came to earth, was he not? how come , you refuse him his spirit nature when he had accomplished the work he was sent to do here on earth? 1 Like |

zodiakzax: the issue is not about christ.s nature or wether he is a God or not. The point is jehovah is not the son jesus niether is the son the father, they are two seperate individuals and the father remains the God, creator and father of the son jesus. And these points will always make the trinity doctrine false to a reasonable person |

goodnews201668:and yet again you wouldn't keep quiet on an issue you know little about. Did the man create the woman simply because he's the head of the woman? The verse you used doesn't make God the Father the creator of Christ simply because God is His head? No, then the man shld have created the woman. If I were you, I would have gone through my last thread so you can see that Christ is God and Christ created all things. |

Commentary for English Readers (6) Being in the form of God.—(1) The word “being” is here the more emphatic of the two words so translated, which lays stress on the reality of existence (as in Acts 16:20; Acts 17:28; 1Corinthians 11:7; Galatians 2:14). Hence it calls attention to the essential being of Christ, corresponding to the idea embodied in the name Jehovah, and thus implying what is more fully expressed in John 1:1. (2) The word “form” (which, except for a casual use in Mark 16:12, is found only in this passage of the New Testament) is to be carefully distinguished from “fashion.” There can be no doubt that in classical Greek it describes the actual specific character, which (like the structure of a material substance) makes each being what it is; and this same idea is always conveyed in the New Testament by the compound words in which the root “form” is found (Romans 8:29; Romans 12:2; 2Corinthians 3:18; Galatians 4:19). (3) On the other hand, the word “fashion,” as in 1Corinthians 7:31 (“the fashion of this world passeth away”), denotes the mere outward appearance (which we frequently designate as “form”), as will be seen also in its compounds (2Corinthians 11:13-14; 1Peter 1:14). The two words are seen in juxtaposition in Romans 12:2; Philippians 3:21 (where see Notes). Hence, in this passage the “being in the form of God,” describes our Lord’s essential, and therefore eternal, being in the true nature of God; while the “taking on Him the form of a servant” similarly refers to His voluntary assumption of the true nature of man. It should be noticed that, whereas in St. Paul’s earlier Epistles, in which he cared not “to know anything save Jesus Christ,” and “Him as crucified,” the main idea is always of our Lord as the mediator between man and God, yet in the later Epistles (as here, and in Ephesians 1:10; Ephesians 1:20-23; Colossians 1:15-19; Colossians 2:9-11; to which we may add Hebrews 1:2-4) stress is laid, sometimes (as in Ephesians 1:10), on His gathering all things in heaven and earth unto Himself; sometimes, even more explicitly, on His partaking of the divine nature, and (as in Colossians 1:17) of His possessing the divine attribute of creation. All this naturally leads up to the great declaration of His true and perfect Godhead in John 1:1-13. Thought it not robbery to be equal with God.—There are two main interpretations of this passage; first, the interpretation given in our version, which makes it simply an explanation and enforcement of the words “being in the form of God”; secondly, the translation thought it not a prize to be grasped at to be equal with God, which begins in it the statement of our Lord’s voluntary self-humiliation, to be completed in the words, “but emptied Himself of glory.” The former preserves the literal translation of the original word “robbery;” the latter, in accordance with a not uncommon usage, makes it equivalent to “the thing snatched at,” and if this be allowed, has abundant examples in other writings to support the meaning thus given to the whole phrase. Either interpretation yields good sense and sound doctrine; neither does violence to the general context. But the latter is to be preferred; first (1) because it suits better the idea of the passage, which is to emphasise the reality of our Lord’s humility, and preserves the opposition implied in the “but” following; (2) because it has the great preponderance of the ancient Greek interpreters in its favour; (3) because it can, on the whole, appeal more confidently to ordinary usage of the phrase. The sense is that, being in the form of God, and therefore having equality with God, He set no store on that equality, as a glory to Himself, compared with the power of giving salvation to all men, which He is pleased to consider a new joy and glory. |

hope you wunt mind if I check the scriptures you posted and give my own views, it will take time since the verses are many, and pls ill have to number each point in your post. zodiakzax:King James Version Ps 102:25Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. King James Version Heb 1:10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: King James Version Isa 48:13Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together. Do these verses mean that Jesus is the same person as God? I answer is no . why do I say so? reading from verse 1 oF Hebrews shows that it is God that was talking and that God was not talking about himself but talking to and about someone else. The attributes he asigned to the person he was talking go and about cannot be applied to God, in this case I'll refer to this God as Almighty God . excerpts from previous verses of heb chapter one before we get to verse 10. King James Version Heb 1:1-4,9: God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his(a) Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4. Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. 9. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God,(your god) hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. What have I learnt from those verses, I've learnt that(pls correct me if Im wrong) 1. that the person (Jesus) being referred to in verse 10 is not the God that was talking in that verse. 2. that the person , Jesus in an heir, the almighty God is not an heir to no person. 3. The person being refered to in verse 10 sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, thus that person(jesus) is not the Majesty on high, which indicates jesus is not the most high! 4. the person being talked about in verse 10 has a God who anointed and promoted him! With the above, I do not think that person is almighty God , who is said to be the creator. but the question is still there, how can this person who god was talking about be said to have laid the foundation of the earth as God is said to have done. The answer lies in the following scriptures. Ps 33:6By the word of Jehovah the heavens were made, And by the spirit of his mouth everything in them. Col 1:15,16He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and on the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All other things have been created through him and for him. Pr 8:22, 27- 31: Jehovah produced me as the beginning of his way, The earliest of his achievements of long ago. 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there; When he marked out the horizon on the surface of the waters, 28When he established the clouds above, When he founded the fountains of the deep, 29When he set a decree for the sea That its waters should not pass beyond his order, When he established the foundations of the earth, 30Then I was beside him as a master worker. I was the one he was especially fond of day by day; I rejoiced before him all the time; 31I rejoiced over his habitable earth, And I was especially fond of the sons of men. This scriptures proves to me, and I hope it does so to you too that jehovah, who is called the almighty God is primarily responsible for creation, the power for the creation came from but he used his only begotten Son, who was his master worker, to do it . That is why the apostles could rightly distinguish between jesus and God and their roles in creation, they told us : 1Co 8:6there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him. Joh 1:10He was in the world, and the world came into existence through him, but the world did not know him. pls do not forget what the God talking in verse 10 of heb chapter was said to do with Jesus in verse 2. (2)God is our judge (Ps 50:6, Eccl 12:14, 1Chron 16:33), Jesus is our judge (i 4:1, Rev 20:12),King James Version Ps 50:6And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. King James Version Ec 12:14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. 1Ch 16:33At the same time let the trees of the forest shout joyfully before Jehovah, For he is coming to judge the earth. * I could not get what I 4:6 is King James Version Re 20:12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. even without looking into these scriptures , the issue of judging had been already cleared by Jesus himself, the disciples and by God himself. Joh 5:22For the Father judges no one at all, but he has entrusted all the judging to the Son, King James Version Joh 5:27And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. Ac 10:42Also, he ordered us to preach to the people and to give a thorough witness that this is the one decreed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. Ac 17:31Because he has set a day on which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him from the dead.” 2Co 5:10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of the Christ, so that each one may be repaid according to the things he has practiced while in the body, whether good or bad. hope with the above scriptures you can see that Jesus is not God almighty cus he is judging! will continue with the rest later ........pls bear with me . |

dolphinheart:am just very surprise at how low you have fallen, very sad, hmm look at the Hebrews 1 again and see if the writer was referring to God or to the Son? Hebrews 1:8-10English Standard Version (ESV) 8 But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” 10 And, “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; The statement is clearly about the Son. Either way if it was about the Father, you people wouldn't have changed verse 8 by saying " God is your throne forever" you have yet again change scripture for your own use. The original as it reads was " to the Son he says: thy throne,o God, is fore ever and ever. Which was taken from Psalm 45:6 (let's see how you can defend this) and your bible blashemeously changed it in Ps. 45:6 again, go and do your research and get the original Hebrew mss and verify yourself. Now if you still think that verse is talking about God then your people would have changed Lord in verse 10 as Jehovah as they've always been doing when Lord refers to God. So why didn't they use Jehovah in this statement but used Lord instead? That is because they knew who it was referring to and that person was Christ. Other than that they would have been admitting Christ is jehovah which is very clear in the statement. The "And" in vs 10 meant that the writer was still talking about the Son from vs 8, surely any learned person can see that. 1 Like |

goodnews201668:yet again you are talking like a child. Which scripture states that Christ was created by God? Show me please: And am telling you that just as the man is the head of the woman doesn't make the man less human than the woman. It seems you do not comprehend this statement. Jesus is God because He has the same nature as God. God the Father is the head in position not in nature. You still can't comprehend this. Pls let your other brothers talk on your behalf bcs it seems you don't know what you are talking about. Am still waiting for the verse that says God created Christ. Then you will see your folly. 1 Like |

goodnews201668:you cannot know God when you keep on denying the son. Yes the scriptures contains what we need to know about God but Jesus is the full and final revelation of God, without him you will be blind. 1 Like |
