Residents Benin City, Edo State, on Monday expressed their rejection of the policies of the state government by embarking on a peaceful mass protest in major streets of the city.
The protesters marched the streets over Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s policies on tax and school fees hike, as well as growing number abandoned roads projects.
They also frowned at the ‎what they called the dictatorial tendencies of the Government.

very sad at this time for a state owned university

Brother God bless you, the bursary part is the most annoying of them all... Saying the money for bursary is to be used to develop Edo state, yet there's no sign of any development.

About time for the useless, empty megalomaniac.

They should ask him what he did with the $75 million loan that "Misitah Integrity of a Buhari" guaranteed for him after he made the appropriate noises, to vilify without basis. the past federal administration. Abi na how much Buhari don recover of the plenty billions Oshi_Omo_Ole was mouthing about like a drunk parrot?
How much recovered?
How many court cases?
How many judgements?

NIGERIANS ARE HUNGRY.

That is the bottomline of all these protests. No well fed nation protests..

While the masses are shortchanged, their governors ride like emperors in 22 vehicular convoys of brand new cars.

The average Nigerian cannot fuel and maintain one car..

I will like to tell you guys that Adam Oshiomole did very well in his first administration but in the second administration, he turned a new leave. He allowed Agbero to be very powerful and he empowered them with all forms of ticketing and racketing. The poor people that sells pure water on the street pays ticket twice daily to different groups and lately, he proposed and adopted a Policy of Land Tenancy in which land owners pays tax to his government. This is the state without road, light and jobs yet he proposed all sorts of laws to make the life harder for the people. It is a sham and disgrace that the most cheerful has become disheartening. He believes that he has nothing to loose and the people must suffer!!! I pitty the Edo people. OBA Atokpei... Ise .. God bless Nigeria.
