Wrong judgement. Imo has free education to University level and pays highest minimum wage so its understandable but States like Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom earning 11billion and 16billion respectively without free education or even much population are the worst.

Simple analysis means that any State earning the average 4 billion would still have 12billion left for capital expenditure if they earned 16billion. Ebonyi State is the surprise State here. Lagos, Rivers and Delta earn high and hence will always have surplus but Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom should have been in that class.

The Northern States top something positive for the 1st time.

Guy, it's only your fellow ignoramus you can hoodwink with this stvpid submission. Why your obsession with Yorubas for God sake? I already rubbished the useless airport traffic stat you are equally touting here on its dedicated thread.

Are Imo and Abia Yoruba or Socialist states too? Does this profile change the fact that some of the states in the "red" contribute more in terms of GDP and revenues to the Nigerian commonwealth than those in the "black", asides Lagos and perhaps Rivers? Most of the Oil producing states aside Rivers and Delta are also in the Red. Context and perspective please. You must really think you're dealing with fools.

you won't type this trash when your Yoruba brothers are chest beating that they're the richest region in Nigeria. Now the truth is out, you're here comparing Imo and Abia.

Aren't you the same person saying that igbos are not together because they castigate the governors of Imo and Abia? Now you see the difference?

Stop double standards Abeg

Abeg STFU. At least Imo and Abia states in the Red contribute something tangible. Those states in red just require better management that is all. This data suggests nothing more economically and financially.Abeg wetin Anambra dey contribute to commonwealth?

You are the real hypocrite here coz for once you're happy to be in the same league with the Northerners y'all loathe so much. Ndi Ara. cheesy

Bogus statistics to deceive ediots. Where did u derived ur recurrent expenditures from? And why didn't you explain where 50, 35, and 15 are? U can as well assume 1000 900 and 500
I took particular interest in Akwa Ibom where info is much more available than others. There's nothing like 17bn recurrent expenditure that is if u understand what recurrent expenditure is. Its capital expenditure that makes up 80% of the state budget.
Truth like every other state except Lagos it may not be able to meet its recurrent expenses if allocation is denied...but same applies to the federal government. U guys should understand the fact that all those oil producing states are the owners of the revenue from oil before the federal government...without those states there's no oil money for Nigeria yet those states can stand on their own and be sustainable. Oil revenue is not from space it's from somewhere.

BTW Akwa Ibom "recurrent expenditure" is around 6bn
Why not tell us states that can stand on their own if there's no Nigeria. I think that's the real sustainability.

look at even akwa ibom and bayelsa in red, may God save the Niger Delta people . two states not up to 8 million, receiving billions every month.

Bt Abia state is picking up sha. Can't wait to see report of this year.

It is not about the states and their allocation, rather it is about having productive citizens

Lol. Do some of you talk out of your anuses? They will die of hunger yet that is still where your almajiris migrate to, to hawk gala, sell Okrika and other fake products and still make money coz the Yorubas you are badmouthing feed you all via patronage. It's not your fault. For as long as your people are the ones coming to us by the busloads due to the lack of opportunities and hard life in the East, reality will keep slapping you upside the head. cheesy

see talk. Like saying the Chinese are coming to Nigeria because of lack opportunity? Lol, this is exactly the thinking that is making the west backwards. Aren't igbos all over the world doing business? Same with Indians and Germans.

You're a pathetic little fuckboy that know nothing of trade. A gala seller makes 6k a day. Do the math. That's the same salary with a level 10 staff in the federal civil service. Ode
