The Rivers State governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike has appointed ex-militant commander, Sobomabo Jackrich aka General Egberi Papa as the Caretaker Chairman of Asari Toru Local Government Area, one of the councils where the State Assembly election results were recently nullified by the tribunal. As part of his familiarization tour, General Egberi Papa on Monday, 9th November 2015, paid a courtesy visit to the member representing Asari-Toru Constituency 1 in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Tekenari G. Wellington.
