Have you got an experience of gas leaking from the cylinder after refilling? I.e to say u filled your gas cylinder, set up ur stand and in the process of popping the corn u discovered the fire (burner) not heating as expected only for u to realise ur gas has leaked. What precaution does one need to take to prevent such occurence?

locate the leak place and correct it

Ask your gas station output for more

I use MANGU corn from Jos, is more economical for me and I make more profit out of it though not all that pop, but is stil better, I get direct seller which I order direct from, the foreign corn is kinda expensive for me now because of the Dollar increase and foreign corn is 25KG for 7,500 naira per bag whereas the MANGU corn is around 75KG for 12,000 naira per bag ....

For the marketing, I supply in whole sale to supermarkets, shops and Big hotels in Imo state. Now the new shoprite that will be lunched this week thursday 17th March 2016 has endorsed me as their major supplier, am afraid if I will even meet up to their dairly need becus I know they require massive production capacity.

@Jimiyke: Does your Popcorn have Nafdac number? Or does Shoprite accept some category of products without Nafdac number? Please enlighten me. Thanks and awaiting your reply.

whn you go ask them the name of the foreign corn, you can manage crown but Karranson gold is the best

Nice to hear this , how is the business going in your side?

I made a trial practice today It did not come out nice. Popped corn was brown and had lots of unpopped corn.
Machine used: locally made type
Corn: local type.
Direction was followed as stated here.
Big ogas in the business kindly put me through as am really ready to start up the business.

Please i keep getting a salt and smtyms slight bitter taste in my pop-corn. And how can i make it more gripsy, my method: i wash and dried corn, add heat up the pot: add sm quantity of butter, left it to melt, i added a sm cup of corn, turned till it pops, i added sugar and liquid milk flavour through the pot opening, i stirred a bit, a poured it all out into a baff and added raw milk powder (though i still got the salty taste b/4 adding milk) please where am i getting it wrong sir, you inspired me to start up. Thankx. Please quote me
