For some security reasons,i think it better to always put on your shoes while driving,cos,we've heard of cases where life electric wire
suddenly falls on a passing vehicles,in such cases,if you are bear footed,one would be electrocuted due to direct contact to the car metal.

I've always driven wit my shoes on and I think I still prefer that. However, the only problem I have is that my right foot shoes keep wearing off on one side. Could someone pls tel me what to do in order to avoid this

I learnt driving with both.
Though shoe driving wears off the right side of the shoe.

i prefer foot driving on long distance trips and whenever am wearing sandals or slippons.
but with shoe? am good to go.

finally, its good to be versatile.
