Officials: 128 killed, 99 people critically injured

Reuters reports that French officials have put the provisional death toll at 128 people from the combined attacks, with 180 injured, with 99 people in hospital in critical condition.

Paris' Jewish community learns of attack after Shabbat

The local Jewish community is waking up to hear the news of Friday's atrocities - many were observing the Shabbat until this morning and did not realise their neighbourhood had been targeted by the gunmen.

Dozens of Jewish people have been attempting to make their way down Rue de Charonne to their synagogue at the other end of the road.

Robert Heymann, a community elder, told The Telegraph: "We came out from our home this morning and we saw the Saturday market, and were shocked to see nobody there.

"Someone stopped us in the street and said what happened, and that all the markets were closed.

"Last night we were observing, so no radio, no TV, no internet."

Mr Heymann said the latest murders would give France a new perspective on terrorist attacks on their soil.

Even January's atrocity at Charlie Hebdo had been written off by some as a "Jewish problem", Mr Heymann said, because it was quickly followed by the hostage-taking at a kosher supermarket, the Hyper Cacher, in which four people died.

"Maybe everybody now understands so this is not just a Jewish problem," he said.

"France itself is attacked.

The Hyper Cacher deli which was targeted in January is just a mile from La Belle Equipe.

Police cordons are in place around the restaurant this morning with armed officers only allowing residents who live inside the cordon to pass through.

Each person allowed through is being escorted to their door by a police officer after their identity papers have been checked.

Life is continuing, but not as normal. Shops are beginning to open their shutters now, at normal opening time.

But small groups of people are gathering at the cordon, some pink-eyed from tears, as they take in the enormity of a mass slaughter in their neighbourhood.

• It emerged that terrorists shot at people in wheelchairs at the Bataclan concert hall. A British man is feared to have died in the arms of a close friend there

• Isil released a message claiming responsibility, saying that France will remain a top target as long as it continues its policies, and it was targeting the capital of "prostitution and obscenity"

• Francois Hollande condemned a "planned act of war" by "Isil barbarians" and declared three days of mourning after the "cowardly" attack

• A Syrian passport found at the Stade de France bomb scene was used to claim asylum in Greece in October. It is not confirmed whether it belonged one of the bombers. Also found at the scene was an Egyptian passport

Serbian media names another gunman

The MailOnline reports that Serbian media claims one of the terrorists was Ahmed Almuhamed.

The newspaper reports that the man was carrying a Syrian passport and is aged 25.

He is believed to have been blown himself up at the Bataclan concert all where more than 80 people were killed by gunmen during the siege on Friday.

MailOnline cite Blic newspaper as reporting that the terrorist arrived with another bomber in Europe on the Greek island of Leros in October. It is then reported he took a month to travel to France and on October 7, entered Serbia after crossing from Macedonia.

Blic is reported to claim that he applied for asylum in Serbia before travelling on to Croatia and Austria

I think they have wake up from thier sleep. So many documentary on Jihad. Some isis members in Prison confessed they were not violent until they joined isis. They told them how Muhammad fought to sustain Allah's name. They too are to do thesame thing. That Islam is the only religion.
