Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode joined the other Lagosians in paying their last respects to the late Martyr of Yoruba Land, Chief Mrs HID Awolowo at her Lying-In-State and Service of songs held yesterday, Sunday, November 15, at the Awolowos’ residence in Park Lane, Apapa, Lagos. Also in attendance were former governors of Lagos state, Pa Lateef Jakande, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, incumbent governor and many others. Op..she's not a martyr for yoruba race but mother to the yoruba people because she wasn't killed by anybody. She die a peaceful death. |
