Golden Eaglets star Kelechi Nwakali says he would prefer to join Arsenal over Manchester City.

The young midfielder is spoilt for choices after leading Nigeria to victory in the just concluded FIFA U-17 World Cup where he also finished as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Manchester City are said to leading the race to sign the midfielder having snapped up him his elder brother Chidiebere Nnwakali after the u-17 World Cup in 2013.

Nwakali also earlier in 2015 underwent trials at Manchester City but said he is a big fan of Arsenal because of their attractive passing game.

“I will love to play for Arsenal. They are their Premier League club I will like to play for them because they play the best football in the world,” he told MTN Football.

City would need the services of Chidiebere Nwakali to persuade his younger brother to join him at the Etihad, but the midfielder insists he will allow his brother to make the decision.

“It is a personal decision and so he will be the one to take it as this could well define his career,” Chidiebere said.
