I will not read too much into the amount given to supposed 17year olds. Some of these boys will go on to be world known stars so they will be fine.

I think giving them 20k would discourage the upcoming players in National level because when the boys strive hard to win a trophy and were awarded with a meagre pay would discourage other uprising players and would give them the idea of travelling aboard to play for countries that would appreciate their talents.
