The Person

This exciting opportunity is available for a proactive enthusiastic and well organised person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join the RGR team in Abuja as Student Recruitment and Tutorial service customer service officer who will also be involved in full office support.

Purpose of the Job

Due to expansion in business activity and business development, a Ruhe Global Resource requires the service of a self-starter who is able to work collaboratively within a team. The person would be required to assist the Managing director and Senior Consultant in business development, carry out tutorial services and visa support to all RGR customers.

The post holder will have teaching responsibility for a group of learners, who will require individualised approaches to learning.

Job Description

Recruitment and Business development

The successful applicant will be responsible for meeting set targets while overseeing the daily administration of the office.
To evaluate and successfully establish new business opportunities while strengthening existing ones, coordinate marketing activities nationwide and effectively increase brand awareness.
Maintain the business development database and checklist
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals
Strategically execute nationwide marketing campaigns
The role requires a lot of marketing and negotiation skill as you will be required to bring in new business which would be used as performance indicator
Liaise with sponsors/partners on adhering to standards and acceptable best practices
Initiate necessary virtual and real-time marketing strategies/campaigns using various social media platforms amongst others
The role requires lot of initiative, creativity and responsibility in dealing with all stakeholders involved in a customer interfacing environment.

Tutoring .

· Contribute to the development of a curriculum which is appropriate to learner needs and conforms to the requirements of examination boards.

· Manage the curriculum through preparation, research, liaison with colleagues and relevant agencies and management of resources.

· Deliver the curriculum in an innovative, responsible and flexible manner using a highly individualised approach.

· Plan, assess and record the individual achievements of each learner against Individual Learning Plans and in accordance with examination board and funding agency criteria.

· Evaluate the quality and success of the curriculum.

· Participate in the pastoral welfare of learners, specifically as a group tutor.

· Engage in any individual or collaborative research and consultative work agreed by senior management as relevant to the area of work.

· Contribute on an occasional and voluntary basis to the corporate life of the orgnisation.

· Perform such other duties as are commensurate with the status and nature of the post.



Customer Service



· Maintain logs of visitors and appoints and allocate appointment time to enquirers.

· Attend to all enquiries and question over the phone, email and face to face.

· Maintain the company’s online platforms and social media handles





Office Support

· Ensure the smooth running of the Abuja office

· Ensure that the ambiance of the office is comfortable to customers

· Escalate any major office supply needed for the smooth running of the office

· Assist the manager in all administrative duties as assigned



Responsibilities

Email/Telephone/Skype etc - responding to enquiries and maintaining contact with students
Continuous counselling and follow up of Students
Keep all entries in the Database up to date so as to maintain Excel files for follow up of students.
Prepare and send applications for students
Conduct all follow Op with universities to ensure timely updates and offers for the students
Visa Checking - confirm all documents are correct prior to visa submission.
Message Board - stay up to date with new information by reading the message board
Office Visits - take part in and assist with partner institution visits
RGR Fairs-assist with arrangements for these events
Assist with any marketing initiatives and do your best to promote the office and our services wherever and whenever you can.
Conduct Tutorial classes effectively

Essential Requirements

A graduate degree or an English Language qualification
Comfortable with teaching and skilled with teaching English language
Must be able to work in a customer interfacing environment.
Excellent presentation, communication and Interpersonal skills
Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal supervision
Good with Microsoft Excel & Power point presentation.
Ability to use the internet and familiar with social networks
Excellent organisational, planning & time management skills.
Excellent customer service and sales support skills
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.



Desirables but not required

Have worked in similar role for at least 1 year
Track record of meeting set goals and targets
Resident within Abuja
Good knowledge of the international Education System

Salary: this will be based on experience and knowledge of the Business.
