Arsenal(4) Vs Stoke City(1) On Sunday 24th May by Cristalz(f): 6:45pm On May 21, 2009
Arsenal are a club in distress currently.  .  .so much talk of leaving and staying, and everything else in between. Even the gaffer is not left out, though Arsene Wenger has said he will continue as Arsenal manager and spurn the advances of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Emannuel Adebayor is also rumored to want to leave the club.
Andrei Arshavin believes Arsenal can turn around their flagging fortunes next season - by buying more players like him. With a fourth successive trophyless season coming to an end, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has come under criticism for his policy of buying and developing young talent rather than established stars.
Losing this game will only invite more criticism.  .  .so they have to get a win, at least to exit the season gracefully.

Stoke City have done pretty well for themselves this season.  .  .they came out with a bang, lost their footing, but still managed to ensure they will be in the league next season. A lot better than Newcastle and Middlesbrough can say about themselves.
Even if they lose this game, there won't be any serious effect, but they will try to make sure their 11th place remains secure.

The season has not been a disaster- Wenger

Regrets? Arsène Wenger has had a few this season, but he insists that the 2008/09 campaign has been anything but a disaster. Arsenal secured a 12th successive year of Champions League football and reached the last four in that competition as well as the FA Cup. However, Wenger and his players have been slated in some quarters for failing to lift a trophy. The Frenchman accepts that Arsenal have room for improvement but he is convinced that his squad will blossom in the years to come. “------------------------------------------------------

SWITCH SAYS-

ON Arsenal prospect as a club, Arsenal remains one of the best teams in the EPL and in the world with the best brand of beautiful football, and it will only take a few ingridients to be added to bring the team back to TITLE WINNING WAYS!! Wenger knows!! (LOL)
