A group of Northern youths under the aegis of North-East Youths Peace Development Initiative, NEYPDI, yesterday urged President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government to dialogue with those agitating for Biafra, instead of applying force against them.

The group also dissociates itself from the call for the Igbos in the north to vacate the area.
The National President, NEYPDI, Alhaji Kyari Idris Abubakar, in a statement said: “Like those of us who have been suffering from insurgency in the past years we would not hesitate to go against anything that would lead to violence in the country. FG should dialogue with the agitators and not force, as it is not the best approach in handling the matter.”
Abubakar expressed regret over the recent call for Igbos to move out of the north, adding that it was capable of generating tensions and possibly lead to violence. “I want to remind the group that we have northerners in the south-east and other parts of the country and if the threat is carried out, they would also be asked to move back to the north, the development that negates the principle of peaceful co-existence as a nation,” he said.
The youth leader also urged President Buhari and the Service Chiefs to step into the matter in order to avoid it from degenerating. According to Abubakar since the agitators of the sovereign state of Biafra did not enjoy the support of many Igbo leaders including the governors, there was no need for one to go as far as asking the Igbos to quit northern part of the country.
Abubakar who is also the leader of Lagos State chapter of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) further stated that the constitution of the country gives liberty to its citizens to choose any part of the country as residence. “The major task ahead of northern youths in the country is not for Igbos to quit the north but to join hands with the new government and Service Chiefs to end the ongoing insurgency in the region,” he said. na fear de catch dem? :Dhttp://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/northern-group-calls-for-dialogue-over-biafra/

Above pic is mile 1 market area. Nobody is advocating for violence but we all agree that Nigeria is ripe for basic restructuring for proper accomodation.

We want out... Nothing else.. We don't want to produce your president, heck.. rule yourselves.. We don't want to suffer under your litany of some eternally blundering presidents too.. Dialogue

Every new day that emerges constantly leaves Nigeria more terrified than ever. With the unfolding events in the last fifty years, Nigeria's destiny is imminent. Imminent because the foundation of Nigeria was built on British parochial interest.

The foundation of a thing determines how far it can stand the test of time. Nigeria has failed to stand as a true nation because nothing built on falsehood ever stands, hence the collapse of the so called giant of Africa. It will continue to be in futility, forcing over 400 ethnics group with different ideologies to exist as a single entity against their own tendencies.

Perhaps, the British knew very well that this was an impossible mission, but because they wanted to propose a new theory, probably to add to the lists of British achievements in terms of theories and hypothesis, they decided to forge ahead with the Nigeria experiment, using Lord Lugard as an arrow head.

The outcome of the experiment led to the falsehood amalgam of 1914 which further resulted in Nigeria becoming sterile in all ramifications-nothing works! Alas! Fifty years is enough for sterile mind to regain consciousness, otherwise such mind, such nation will never recover.

The reason is not far fetched, as a fool at forty will forever be a fool. Fifty years down the road, the Lord Lugard "ragbag" has remained a shadow of itself. The only way out of this logjam is to revisit the falsehood amalgam of 1914.

While I was wondering if it was necessary for Gen. Buhari to still tussle for the Presidential seat, I was seen as a betrayal of one Nigeria, but logically and realistically if eventually his wishes are meant, it would be insanity to expect different result when there is repetition of the same process, same old and discredited political philosophies that has made many critics believe Nigeria as a nations draws the entire world backwards.

Biafra is possible but the timing and approach are wrong. There is no region doing well under this arrangement but the political class ; that's why it's hard for any politician from the East to support Biafra cause. As a Yoruba man I will advice IPOB to call a solemn assembly with sincere purpose to decide on the best approach to agitate for independent State. You can not force two people to live together Nigeria is a fraud and the elites are the beneficiaries. However Igbo should stop preaching bitter hatred, as its now no single region is ready to support this cause, not even South South. We should always remember Love is God.
