Honestly thou, SAA can't win this war no matter how much airpower Russia throws into it.

At the end of the day, deals will be cut and every player will have to pick and choose acceptable terms on the negotiating table. Putin waited too late to intervene if his plan was to win an outright victory for Assad partly because the west had no coherent strategy.

I dont expect a Russian direct retaliation against Turkey, plus the fact that this might just open up options like a Syrian government issuance of a no fly zone in Syria to be enforced by the Russians in bed with France who have not hidden its loathing of Turkey at anytime. The Russian retaliation may most likely be covert, but make no mistake about it, this will mark the end of Turkish air violations of Syrian airspace, cause anytime they will enter from now, it would be suicide. They wont even recieve a warning.

Exactly. The S400 to Syria entails a greater Russian greater plan in the offing, and its a clear indication that a de facto no fly zone is been established, with no doubt: zero permission for IS state like Turkey.
