Reports from the morning has confirmed that the government of Turkey shot down a Russian fighter jet su-24, a pilot was killed while his assistant has been declared missing, speculations suggests he might have been nabbed by isis.
Turkey has come out bold in defence of their deed saying the fighter jet was in their air space for 5 minutes and was warned 10 times before the decision to strike it down was made,
Russia said shooting the fighter net down is not a bid to bring about a conflict between turkey and Russia but for the integrity of Turkey and violation of turkey's airspace.
Russian government ha said the shooting down of the fighter jet which was deployed to fight the Islamic terrorist group isis is been taken serious by them,
Furthermore, the Russian government said the aircraft was not anywhere within the turkish airspace neither was any warning issued.
